  • Stay up-to-date with the outage: Visit status.iu.edu for current information on the availability of Canvas at IU
  • Monitor your IU email: the university will communicate updates to students via your official IU email account. Visit mail.iu.edu
  • Connect with your instructor: If you have questions about your spring 2026 or summer 2026 course, please use your official IU email account for communication.
  • Access your class schedule: If you need to check your class schedule, for example for information about your instructor, you may access it via My Class Schedule in One.IU

  • Canvas – Visit Canvas often for class syllabi, announcements, assignments, and additional course materials. Check out some helpful Canvas training and resources for students to find out how to navigate Canvas, change your notification settings, and much more.
  • Microsoft Teams - Teams is a collaboration tool that allows students the ability to work together and share information in a common space. Included among its features are real-time collaboration, one-on-one chat, and file sharing.
  • IUanyWare and IUware – Find great titles for no cost like Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office. Use IUanyWare to stream or IUware to download. New! IUanyWare now offers remote access to STC desktop computers. This remote access allows you access to even more IU-licensed software.
